SP-PENANG 2/6/2011-5/6/2011

Day 1 - Sungai Petani

We arrived safely in SP, before 5pm on a thursday afternoon. There, we stayed at Vnootheni's house (refer to missing friend blogpost) for the night. She brought us around for a tour of SP in her car, and then to a park, and a mall at night. We were also supposed to go for a night movie, but the cinemas were closed because adelyn have already watched kungfu panda 2.  =P

The park in SP is like super cool. They have eagles, and deers, and rabbits, and chickens, and flowers and trees and.....a playground. In short, it was a very nice place.

Day 2- The wedding, then off to Penang!

I guess i forgot to mention, one of the main purpose of having this SP trip on that particular weekend was so that we could attend our classmate's sister's wedding. So that morning, Vnoo's mum very kindly prepared breakfast for us and then off we were to Dewan Lip Seang Kor- where the wedding is! We, the sesat people who don't know anything about indian weddings- like what to wear, what to bring, what to give...and so with vnoo's guidance, we all contributed to this little "angpau" that said...... *drumrolls*...........   "From indra's friends." LOL *smacks forehead*

and then in penang,
First meal was in the coffee shop beside song river, along gurney drive, where i had loh mee. Later, we took a cab up to batu ferringhi.

This ride is known as the storm which was supposedly a non wet right. However, the next time someone tells u that, please do me a favour and punch him in the face. We were SOAKING WET after the ride. But it was fun despite almost flying off.




Day 3- Bukit Bendera, Kek Lok Si, Fort Cornwallis and free CAT shuttle!

Day 4- Pulau Tikus market for breakfast, Sleeping buddha temple, and Dhammikarama temple

One last epic moment to share...

This was on the way to SP, somewhere in Perak if i'm not mistaken when somebody asked:

"Is Perak in Selangor? ......or Negeri Sembilan?"
